Terms of Service

1. Your authorization to scan

YSFSec only executes scans against websites that the requesting user confirms they own or are authorized to test. You agree that you will not submit any target you do not own or lack written permission to assess. Unauthorized scanning may be illegal in your jurisdiction, and you are solely responsible for ensuring authorization before requesting a scan.

2. Use of the service

YSFSec provides automated website security assessments using an automated scanning engine. Automated scans are not a substitute for a full penetration test performed by a qualified security professional.

3. No guarantees

YSFSec is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. An absence of findings does not mean a website is secure. We do not guarantee that all vulnerabilities will be detected.

4. Acceptable use

• Only scan targets you own or are authorized to test.
• Do not use YSFSec to disrupt, degrade, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
• Do not attempt to access another user's scans or reports.
• Do not probe YSFSec infrastructure beyond normal use.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YSFSec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the fees you paid to YSFSec in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Subscriptions, billing & payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable fees on purchase and on each renewal date until the subscription is cancelled. Prices are listed in Naira; USD figures are shown for reference only. We may update prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

7. Plans & scan limits

Each plan includes a fixed number of scans and website targets per billing month, as described on our pricing page. Unused scans do not roll over into the next month. Exceeding a plan's limits requires upgrading; we may pause additional scans until the plan is upgraded.

8. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law or where we materially fail to provide the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, including misuse under Section 4. Either party may terminate for convenience with written notice. Clauses relating to liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold YSFSec harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, including scanning targets you are not authorized to test.

11. Intellectual property

Your scan results and report data belong to you. The YSFSec platform, software, scanning engine, and brand assets remain our property. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts. For Enterprise customers, service level terms are set out in the Enterprise agreement.
